X Product Manager Nikita Bier announced today that the Creator Rewards Sharing Policy will be revised to maintain the authenticity of content on the timeline and prevent the scheme from being manipulated. During wartime, it is crucial for the public to obtain genuine on-the-ground information. However, with the advancement of artificial intelligence technology today, creating deceptive content has become all too easy.

Effective immediately, users who post videos depicting armed conflicts generated using artificial intelligence without permission will be suspended from participating in the Creator Rewards Sharing Plan for 90 days. Repeat offenders will have their participation in the program permanently revoked.

If a post contains community annotations or if the content includes metadata (or other signals) from a generative AI tool, we will receive such markers. We will continue to refine our policy and product to ensure that X remains trustworthy in these critical moments.
