Israeli Initial Assessment: Assassination Attempt on Iranian Leader Failed

BlockBeats News, February 28th, Israeli media reported that the Israeli side's initial assessment believed that the US-Israeli attempt to assassinate Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei and Iranian President Raisi failed. The Iranian side had previously confirmed the safety of these two individuals.


An Israeli official stated that the US and Israel targeted Khamenei and Raisi in the attack, as well as residences of ministers and military commanders, the Ministry of Defense and Intelligence facilities, and the Presidential Palace. The vicinity of Khamenei's office was targeted.


Reuters quoted an Iranian official as saying that Khamenei is currently not in Tehran and has been moved to a secure location. According to Iran's Mehr News Agency, Raisi is safe. (CCTV)
