Nvidia, SoftBank Invest $3 Billion in OpenAI

BlockBeats News, February 27th, OpenAI announced a new $110 billion investment at a $730 billion valuation, with investors including: Amazon ($50 billion), Nvidia ($30 billion), SoftBank ($30 billion).

OpenAI will collaborate with Amazon (AMZN.O) to develop customized models. OpenAI will utilize 2 Exaflops of Trainium chip compute capacity through Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.

SoftBank's total investment in OpenAI is expected to reach $64.6 billion, with a post-transaction ownership stake of approximately 13% in OpenAI.
