Wikipedia Co-founder: Bitcoin Could Fall Below $10,000 by 2050

Its design is robust enough that it will continue to exist unless there is an unforeseen cryptographic collapse or an unexpected 51% attack (even if these events occur, I think it can continue to exist through a fork)."

However, Bitcoin may drop to a price level only suitable for enthusiasts to play with. As it has completely failed as a currency or store of value, it cannot become the dominant currency of the future. Therefore, I suggest setting the price target for 2050 at below $10,000 in present value terms, possibly even far below this level."
