Google Strikes Multi-Billion Dollar AI Chip Deal with Meta

BlockBeats News, February 27th, according to The Information, Google has reached a multi-billion dollar artificial intelligence chip deal with Meta. Meta has signed an agreement to lease Google's artificial intelligence chips — known as TPUs — to develop new AI models.

Meta is also in talks with Google to buy TPUs for its data centers as early as next year. Google has set up a joint venture aimed at leasing its tensor processing units to other AI customers.
