Circle CEO: Arc Token Still in the Exploration Phase, Mainnet Expected to Launch in 2026

BlockBeats News, February 26th, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire responded to the question "Regarding the progress of the Arc token and when the Arc token will be launched" during Circle's 2025 Q4 earnings conference call, stating, "We are still actively exploring the Arc token. I see this as a very valuable exploration. We are gaining a deeper understanding of how the token plays a critical role in stakeholder incentives, governance, security, functionality, and utility within the Arc network. Therefore, this exploration is ongoing.

Currently, we have not communicated any specific timelines as we are still in the exploration phase. However, as I mentioned, we have made significant progress on the Arc project and are steadily moving towards the launch of the Arc mainnet, expected in 2026.

We expect to see some outstanding companies participating in running the Arc infrastructure, deploying applications on that infrastructure, and providing infrastructure support for asset issuers and AI agents, covering a wide range of use cases. Once more information is available for disclosure, we will make it public."
