NEAR Protocol Introduces Cross-Chain Transaction Privacy Execution Feature, Confidential Intents, Bringing Privacy Execution Layer to Cross-Chain Transactions

BlockBeats News, February 25th, NEAR has launched the Confidential Intents feature, which is a built-in cross-chain transaction privacy execution feature embedded in NEAR Intents, aimed at addressing the long-standing transaction transparency issue in DeFi. Confidential Intents builds a restricted visibility execution environment through NEAR's private shards, making transaction details invisible to external parties during the settlement process.

Users can freely switch between the main account and a confidential account in the application, enabling a privacy mode for operations such as transfers, deposits, and withdrawals. The privacy feature for currency exchange is also set to be launched soon. This feature targets institutional capital, enterprise users, and advanced DeFi users, providing a cross-chain position privacy protection layer.
