BlockBeats News, February 14th, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted on social media:
“Ironically, if a ban on crypto rewards were to become law, Coinbase's profits would actually increase because we currently pay high rewards to customers holding USDC. But we don't want this to happen. Giving customers rewards is better for consumers, and keeping regulated stablecoins competitive on the global stage is also better for the United States.”
It is reported that Brian Armstrong's comments were in response to the recent CLARITY Act dispute, specifically whether to ban or restrict platforms from offering stablecoin rewards to users.
