BlockBeats News, February 6th, Aave founder Stani posted stating that the Aave protocol and the entire DeFi space had a highly resilient week. Over the past seven days, the protocol underwent liquidations of over $450 million across multiple networks. For a protocol with over $50 billion in size, this represented about 0.9% of the total deposits at the time. At the same time, Aave continued to accrue additional revenue. In the lending process, defaults may occur, and Aave has built-in mechanisms to handle such situations. Additionally, a new liquidation engine will be released for Aave V4 to bring increased flexibility and performance to the protocol.
