Trump Advisor Opposes CLARITY Act Provision Targeting Trump Family

BlockBeats News, February 4th, Trump's digital asset advisor Patrick Witt stated that the White House will not accept the "Cryptocurrency Market Structure Clarity Act" (CLARITY Act) containing provisions targeting Trump. Witt called the early ethical provisions of the bill completely outrageous and explicitly stated that they "will not allow provisions targeting the President personally or his family members".

Currently, the "CLARITY Act" is deadlocked due to multiple issues, with Democrats demanding a ban on senior government officials profiting from the crypto industry. According to sources, the White House has instructed industry insiders to submit a compromise proposal by the end of February. As the midterms approach, the longer the legislative process drags on, the harder it will be for Congress to pass the bill.
