BlockBeats News, January 31st, Binance founder CZ spoke in an AMA response to recent market FUD, stating:
“The viewpoint of ‘98% of users’ is very critical. Let's do the math: Binance currently has 300 million users. Even if only 1 person in every 100,000 users complains or encounters issues, that's still 3,000 people. These 3,000 people can generate a significant amount of noise on social media. But the vast majority of users are rational, and we still need to take their concerns seriously. I believe Binance has done a very good job in this regard, even going beyond what is necessary.
Looking at the current social media complaints, the content is mostly centered around the October 10th event. Frankly, the market fluctuation on that day could not have been caused by a single reason, but I still responded to it. As for the claims that ‘October 10th was CZ manipulating the market,’ this is simply not possible. When I see such complaints, I understand that it is more of an emotional venting.
However, when people make specific suggestions on how to improve the product, that is the voice we will listen to carefully. I myself do not spend too much time on (a certain platform), but instead, I put more energy into the BSC ecosystem, our incubator, lab investment projects, and providing advisory services to other governments. These are where my focus lies.”
