BlockBeats News, January 31, Binance founder CZ spoke in response to recent market FUD during an AMA:
“The viewpoint of ‘98% of users’ is very critical. Let's do a calculation: Binance currently has 300 million users. Even if only 1 person out of every 100,000 users complains or encounters issues, that's still 3,000 people. These 3,000 people can generate a significant amount of noise on social media. However, the vast majority of users are rational, and we still need to take their concerns seriously. I believe Binance has done a very good job in this respect, even going beyond what is necessary.
Looking at the current social media complaints, the content mostly revolves around the events of October 10. Frankly, the market volatility on that day could not have been caused by a single reason, but I still responded to it. As for those who claim that ‘October 10 was due to CZ manipulating the market,’ this is simply impossible. When I see these kinds of complaints, I understand that it is more about emotional venting.
When people make specific suggestions on how to improve the product, that's when we will listen carefully. I myself don't spend too much time on (a particular platform), but rather focus more on the BSC ecosystem, our incubator, investment projects in the lab, and providing advisory services to other governments. These are my priorities.”
