BlockBeats News, January 30th, Ethereum founder Vitalik posted on social media that the Ethereum Foundation is entering a phase of moderate tightening to achieve two goals simultaneously:
· Execute a proactive roadmap to ensure Ethereum becomes a high-performance, scalable global computer while maintaining its robustness, sustainability, and decentralization.
· Ensure the long-term viability of the Ethereum Foundation and safeguard Ethereum's core mission and goals, including the core blockchain layer and users' ability to access and use the chain with autonomy, security, and privacy.
Vitalik stated: "To achieve this, my personal tightening plan is to personally take on responsibilities that might belong to a Foundation 'special project' in another era. Specifically, to build an open-source, secure, verifiable software-hardware full-stack system to protect personal life and the public environment. I have just withdrawn 16,384 ETH personally, which will be invested in these goals over the next few years. I am also exploring secure decentralized staking solutions to inject more funds into these goals from long-term staking rewards."
