Binance has submitted a MiCA license application to the Greek regulatory authority

BlockBeats News, January 23rd, according to Cointelegraph, Binance has submitted an authorization application to the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) of Greece under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).


Earlier, on January 13th, the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) issued a warning stating that 90 registered crypto companies, including Binance, have not yet obtained the MiCA license. The French MiCA transitional period will end on June 30th, and non-compliant authorized companies must cease operations in July. According to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) data, Greece has not yet issued any MiCA licenses, while Germany and the Netherlands have issued 43 and 22 licenses, respectively.
