Jefferies' Chief Strategist Removes Bitcoin Allocation Due to Quantum Computing Risk

BlockBeats News, January 16th, according to Bloomberg, Christopher Wood, Global Head of Equity Strategy at Jefferies, recently removed the 10% Bitcoin allocation from its model portfolio, citing the development of quantum computing as a potential threat to Bitcoin's cryptographic security.

Wood stated that if quantum computing continues to advance, Bitcoin's value proposition as a long-term, quasi-digital gold asset could be challenged, and this risk is starting to be factored into mainstream asset allocation considerations.
