Morgan Stanley: Fed Restart of Asset Purchases Has Eliminated Liquidity Risk

2026-01-09 10:06

BlockBeats News, January 9th, Morgan Stanley's Chief Investment Officer Mike Wilson has made an extremely optimistic outlook for the U.S. stock market. In an interview with CNBC's "Squawk Box," Mike Wilson described the future market path as "crystal clear." He believes that the stabilization of Federal Reserve policy and legislative tailwinds will reignite the vitality of the consumer sector. Wilson pointed out that "the Fed is proactively addressing these liquidity issues, and this support has eliminated a significant risk layer for investors."

Although the long-term outlook remains positive, Wilson warned that in a midterm election year, a market pullback is inevitable. He advised investors to prepare for at least a 10% pullback, but also urged everyone to view such declines as buying opportunities rather than exit signals. (Golden Finance)
