BlockBeats News, December 23, Ethereum founder Vitalik responded to the community's question "Why does Ethereum still set a contract size limit": Because of DoS risk considerations. After the Ethereum state structure upgrade to a unified binary tree (EIP-7864), it is expected to achieve unlimited contract size, but it still needs to address the Gas fees and mechanism design when deploying very large contracts, currently calculated based on cost per byte, with an actual contract limit of about 82KB.
