Japan's Interest Rate Hike Implemented, Renowned Trader and Analyst Bullish Consensus

2025-12-19 05:21

BlockBeats News, December 19th, the Bank of Japan announced a 25 basis point rate hike on Friday, raising the unsecured overnight call rate to 0.75%, the highest level since 1995. The decision was announced after a two-day policy meeting and was passed with a unanimous 9-0 vote, in line with market expectations. Following the news, Bitcoin led a rebound in the crypto market, briefly rising over 2%.

With the market rebound, many well-known analysts and traders quickly expressed bullish views, bringing a long-awaited improvement in market sentiment.

Trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio, who had been silent for nearly a month, posted on his personal channel stating that most altcoins have entered the final phase of decline and that "it is now time to start making observation lists and placing buy orders." However, major coins may still have room for further decline.

Chinese crypto analyst Ban Mu Xia reiterated his recent bullish view and suggested that the key resistance for Bitcoin is in the $98,600 to $107,000 range, with $112,500 being a strong resistance level.

Arthur Hayes once again made bold statements: "Don't go against the Bank of Japan, negative real interest rates are their revealed policy. The yen will fall to 200 against the dollar, and Bitcoin will rise to one million dollars."

Even the usually "low-key" "BTC OG Insider Whale" agent Garrett Jin posted a buy signal: "Bitcoin and ETH will see a surge, first target: Bitcoin $106,000, Ethereum $4,500."

Yi Li Hua, sticking to his usual style, continues to be bullish on crypto: after Japan's rate hike, the last major bearish factor has been exhausted. For investment rather than trading, it is still the best spot investment area now. Next year will be bullish for the crypto industry, especially in terms of crypto policies, rate cuts, quantitative easing, and financial on-chain, these three decisive factors. If you want to gain thousands of dollars in return, you must endure hundreds of dollars in fluctuations. The winners in the financial market must first overcome the weakness of human nature.
