BlockBeats News, December 19th, Delphi Digital pointed out in its 2026 Market Outlook Report that the global macro environment is transitioning from differentiation to convergence, with major central banks shifting to rate cuts and fiscal deficits driving up liquidity demand. With the Federal Reserve's quantitative tightening nearing its end, the Treasury General Account possibly declining, and increased support from the People's Bank of China, global liquidity is expected to improve in 2026. The report also noted that the market may not experience the same level of liquidity as in 2020, but it has already established conditions for a more clear and predictable easing pace, with major central bank policies beginning to align, and deficit spending driving greater debt monetization.
The report stated that the global M2 hitting new highs alongside the gold price and central banks continuing to buy gold indicate a continued trend of currency depreciation; historically, when gold has outperformed Bitcoin based on liquidity metrics, assets such as Bitcoin should benefit.
