BlockBeats News, December 14th, Brazil's largest asset management company Itaú Asset Management suggested that investors allocate 3% of their funds to Bitcoin to hedge against forex and market impact risks. The reason is that Bitcoin has a low correlation with traditional local assets, making it a useful diversification tool. Itaú stated that market timing is not necessary and advised adopting a disciplined long-term investment strategy.
Itaú Asset Management's recommendation aligns with the Bitcoin allocation suggested by other major asset management companies. Earlier this month, Bank of America approved a maximum 4% Bitcoin allocation recommended by wealth advisors, while BlackRock advised a 2% allocation.
