Do Kwon is set to receive a court verdict today and could face up to 12 years in prison

BlockBeats News, December 11th, Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon is scheduled to receive a judgment from U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer in a Manhattan court later today (December 11th). It is reported that the prosecution has requested the court to sentence Kwon to 12 years in prison, citing factors such as his guilty plea.

Prior to this, at a hearing presided over by Federal Judge Paul Engelmayer in the Southern District of New York, Do Kwon pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit fraud and telecommunications fraud. In January of this year, he had refused to plead guilty in a case involving nine charges, including securities fraud, telecommunications fraud, commodities fraud, and money laundering. (Decrypt)
