Binance will support the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork

BlockBeats News, December 11, according to an official announcement, Binance will support the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork.

To prepare for the upgrade and hard fork, Binance will conduct maintenance on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) wallet on December 16, 2025, at 14:00 (UTC+8). To support this maintenance, Binance will suspend BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) deposits and withdrawals starting at 13:55 on December 16, 2025 (UTC+8). The maintenance is expected to take 1 hour, and after completion, deposits and withdrawals will automatically resume;

The BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will undergo a network upgrade and hard fork on January 14, 2026, at 10:30 (UTC+8). Binance is expected to suspend BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) token deposits and withdrawals starting at 10:25 on January 14, 2026 (UTC+8).
