Kalshi announced partnerships with several major global media outlets this week, co-founder Lopes Lara became the world's youngest self-made female billionaire

BlockBeats News, December 5th: The prediction market platform has seen rapid development recently, with both Kalshi and Polymarket hitting monthly all-time high trading volumes in November. YZi Labs has also announced its investment in the prediction markets Opinion and predict.fun.

This week, Kalshi announced a $1 billion funding round at a $10 billion valuation, making Kalshi's co-founder Lopes Lara the world's youngest self-made female billionaire. In addition to partnering with the Solana network, Kalshi has successively announced collaborations with top mainstream media outlets CNN and CNBC. Kalshi's prediction data will be featured in real-time on news programs, and a CNBC-branded section will be launched on the Kalshi platform to showcase prediction markets selected by the media network.

Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour stated that this integration represents the "next stage of evolution in financial reporting," transitioning from presenting current data to real-time predictions of future trends.

Previously, competitor Polymarket also mentioned on CBS's "60 Minutes" that prediction markets are "the most accurate prediction tool currently available to humanity." The combined trading volume of the two has exceeded $45 billion, with institutions such as Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, Robinhood, and ICE partnering with prediction market platforms.
