「The Big Short」 Michael Burry: Bitcoin is the 'Tulip Bulb' of This Era, Absolutely Worthless

BlockBeats News, December 2nd, according to a report by businessinsider, Michael Burry, the prototype of the movie "The Big Short" and a well-known investor, referred to Bitcoin as "our era's tulip bulb" in a podcast hosted by "The Big Short" author Michael Lewis aired on Tuesday, referencing the tulip market bubble of the 1600s.


Burry said, "I think the most absurd thing I've ever heard is bitcoin hitting $100,000." He described this cryptocurrency as "worthless."


Burry also told Lewis, "Bitcoin is worse than tulip bulbs, as it has fostered a lot of criminal activities."
