Bloomberg: Fed Never So Split on Long Rate Strategy

BlockBeats News, December 2nd, according to Bloomberg, after cutting rates by more than 1 percentage point, Federal Reserve officials are now debating where to stop - only to find internal dissent is greater than ever before.

Over the past year or so, the biggest divergence since at least 2012 (when the Fed began publishing related estimates) on where rates should ultimately land has emerged. This has also led to an unusually public rift: whether rates should be cut again next week and what action should follow.
