Tether CEO Responds to S&P's USDT Rating Downgrade: Fragility of the Old System Is Making Incumbents Uneasy

BlockBeats News, November 27th, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino responded to Standard & Poor's (S&P) latest rating of Tether by stating, "We take pride in being despised by you."

Paolo Ardoino pointed out that the traditional rating system has long led investors to ultimately collapse under the "investment-grade" institutions, casting doubt on the independence of global regulatory agencies over rating institutions. He stated that the traditional financial system is unwilling to see any company break free from its "dysfunctional gravity," but Tether has built the industry's first overcapitalized, non-toxic asset, and consistently highly profitable company, proving that the fragility of the old system is unsettling the rulers of the "emperor's new clothes" style.
