Following today's dovish comments from several Fed officials, the December rate cut bet has heated up again, with the previous rate cut probability once dropping below 30%. The probability of keeping rates unchanged in December is 28.7%.


The probability of the Fed keeping rates unchanged until January 2026 is 19.2%, the cumulative probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 57.1%, and the cumulative probability of a 50 basis point rate cut is 23.7%.


The dates of the Fed's next two FOMC meetings are December 10 and January 28, 2026.
