The U.S. Senate will question the CFTC Chairman nominee appointed by Trump, focusing on his cryptocurrency regulatory stance

BlockBeats News, November 19th, according to Reuters, U.S. senators will press Michael Selig on Wednesday on a range of sensitive topics, including his plans to reform cryptocurrency regulation and election betting oversight. Selig is the Trump nominee for chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).


Selig currently serves as the chief legal officer of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) crypto asset special working group and advises Republican SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, appointed by Trump.
