Yala: Individual Responsible for September 14 Security Incident Arrested by Law Enforcement

BlockBeats News, October 29th, Yala, the Bitcoin liquidity and its native stablecoin project, officially announced that the individual responsible for exploiting a platform security vulnerability on September 14th has been successfully arrested by law enforcement in Bangkok, Thailand. The majority of the stolen funds have been successfully recovered, and all user claims have been fully resolved.


On September 14th, Yala experienced an attack where its stablecoin, YU, was unable to be redeemed through official channels, leading to a severe depegging.
