Users can participate by quoting and retweeting the official tweet with their proposed Chinese name for Solana. The reward rules state that the best proposal tweet will receive 66 SOL, the second place will receive 33 SOL, and another random participant will receive 1 SOL. The event has now begun and will end on October 17, 2025, at 14:00 (UTC+8). The official announcement states that "best proposal" may comprehensively refer to community platform data, trends on Trends, and other metrics.

Earlier today, the Solana official X account and founder Toly both retweeted Trends.fun's tweet about the Solana Chinese name collection. Trends founder Mable stated: "A few days ago, someone reminded me that Solana does not have a Chinese name yet. Ethereum's Chinese name, Ethereum, has helped ETH spread better in the East. Maybe it's time to listen to the community now? Come up with a good Chinese name."
