IG Group Acquires Majority Stake in Cryptocurrency Exchange Independent Reserve for 109.6 Million AUD

IG is set to initially acquire 70% of the company's shares and will have the right to purchase the remaining 30% based on future performance. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in early 2026, with a total value of 178 million Australian dollars (117.6 million US dollars).
