Federal Reserve's Collins: Rate cut may come later this year, but depends on tariff impact

BlockBeats News, June 25th, Boston Fed President Collins stated that she expects the Fed to cut interest rates later this year. Collins said in a statement released by the bank: "While I still expect that it is appropriate to gradually return to a more normal policy stance later this year, the outlook is evolving, and my views could change significantly depending on developments and how various government policies affect the economy. This is heavily dependent on whether the 'price shock' from tariffs can dissipate quickly." (FX168)
