Initia: The "Inflation Adjustment and Staking Exit Subsidy" time window has ended, and the subsidy will be distributed by July 7th.

BlockBeats News, June 23rd, the Initia Foundation announced that the "Inflation Adjustment and Staking Withdrawal Subsidy Plan" time window has ended. Staked positions that are unstaked after 14:00 on June 23rd will no longer be eligible for the subsidy, and the subsidy will be distributed by July 7, 2025.

Previously reported, the Initia Foundation released the "Inflation Adjustment and Staking Withdrawal Subsidy Plan" governance proposal, aiming to adjust the current annual 5% release rate of INIT's total supply to the originally designed annual staking supply rate of 5%, approximately 1.25% of the total supply per year. The proposal stemmed from an inflation rate misconfiguration since the genesis on April 24, resulting in INIT's inflation being much higher than expected. The foundation proposed a two-stage subsidy plan to compensate users' staking yield loss affected by Proposal 39: Type A Subsidy: Users who initiated unstaking between May 20th (Proposal 39 release) and the date of this proposal release on May 23rd, and restaked before the proposal execution (estimated on June 2nd), will receive a subsidy for the unstaking period. Type B Subsidy: If a user's unstaking period falls between June 2nd and June 23rd, they will receive a subsidy equivalent to a new annualized APR of 25%, calculated based on the actual unstaking days.
