BlockBeats News, on June 16, CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. stated in a post, "In December 2024, when Bitcoin (BTC) was trading between $98,000 and $100,000, the daily average inflows of USDT and USDC into all centralized exchanges (CEX) reached a record-breaking $131 billion. However, by June, this figure had dropped to $70 billion per day—$5 billion less than the 365-day average of $75 billion, and $61 billion below the peak levels."
This indicates that liquidity flowing into exchanges has been consistently slowing down compared to the beginning of the year, although the current level of funds is still significantly higher than during the early stages of the bull market.
This decline reflects the natural cooling off of market overexuberance, while Bitcoin maintaining above $100,000 also demonstrates that market participants are intent on holding their positions and reducing sell-offs.
"Currently, we are in the consolidation and bottoming-out phase ahead of the next market cycle," he concluded.
