State Council Customs Tariff Commission: Will Adjust Tariffs on Imported Goods Originating from the United States on May 14

The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that starting from 12:01 on May 14, 2025, it will adjust the additional tariff rate specified in the "Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Imposing Tariffs on Imported Goods Originating in the United States" (Tariff Commission Announcement No. 4 of 2025) from 34% to 10%, suspending the implementation of the 24% additional tariff rate on US imports for 90 days.

Starting from 12:01 on May 14, 2025, the implementation of the "Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Adjusting the Tariff Increase Measures on Imported Goods Originating in the United States" (Tariff Commission Announcement No. 5 of 2025) and the "Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Adjusting the Tariff Increase Measures on Imported Goods Originating in the United States" (Tariff Commission Announcement No. 6 of 2025) will be suspended.
