The ultimate goal is to make non-ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) accounts a mainstream account type on Ethereum.

These accounts include functionalities such as multi-signature, key rotation, quantum resistance, and privacy protocols. There has been significant progress recently in simplifying the 7701 standard to advance towards this goal's achievement.
