U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff calls for the impeachment of Trump for organizing a private dinner for TRUMP major donors

The reason is that Trump plans to hold a private dinner for a large holder of his official Meme coin, TRUMP.

According to NBC News, Jon Ossoff stated: "48 hours ago, I saw that he was arranging a private meeting for someone who was buying TRUMP. When a sitting U.S. president sells access in this way, essentially accepting direct payments, it undoubtedly meets the standard for impeachment."

Jon Ossoff made these remarks at a town hall meeting in Georgia where he is running for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. He added that the likelihood of impeachment action is low unless the Democratic Party wins control of the House in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections. Currently, the Republican Party, to which Trump belongs, holds the majority in both the House and the Senate.
