Bitunix Analyst: If PCE Inflation Data Comes in Higher Than Expected, it Will Create Short-Term Pressure on the Cryptocurrency Market

BlockBeats News, March 28, the US Core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index is about to be released. This index is the Fed's key inflation measure and will impact future interest rate decisions and market liquidity.

The market widely predicts that the Core PCE year-on-year rate will drop to 2.7% (previous value was 2.8%). If the data comes in below expectations, it may enhance market expectations of a Fed rate cut, further boosting risk asset prices.

Bitunix analyst recommendation: With BTC price consolidating recently, if the data favors risk assets, Bitcoin is expected to challenge the $89,000 - $90,000 range; if the data falls short of expectations, it may retrace to the $76,500 - $80,000 range. Investors should closely monitor the data release and market reaction.
