Elon Musk Appears Publicly with Seven DOGE Team Members for the First Time: Plans to Cut $1 Trillion in Spending by End of May

BlockBeats News, March 28, Thursday local time, in an exclusive interview on Fox News, Musk made his first public appearance with seven DOGE team members. Musk stated that the reform of DOGE is changing the way the U.S. government operates, calling it "the largest revolution since the American Revolutionary War." Musk expressed confidence in cutting $1 trillion in government spending by the end of May.

This means that starting from January 20 when Trump took office, DOGE will achieve this level of cost savings within 130 days.

In response to external criticism, Musk countered that DOGE's approach to cutting is "to think twice before acting": "This is not to say that we won't make mistakes. If we use a standard of not making any mistakes to handle this matter, it's like saying a baseball player must hit the ball every time. That's impossible. So when we do make a mistake, we will quickly correct it and move on." (Wall Street See)
