BlockBeats News, March 28th, U.S.-based artificial intelligence startup Yutori has completed a $15 million financing round. This round was led by Rob Toews of Radical Ventures, with participation from Felicis, AI expert Fei-Fei Li, and Google DeepMind's Chief Scientist Jeff Dean.
The new funds will be used to develop an AI-driven personal assistant. Yutori was co-founded by former Meta executives Devi Parikh and Dhruv Batra. Parikh previously led multimodal AI research at Meta, while Batra was responsible for Meta's embodied AI research team.
The company's team also includes experts who participated in the development of Meta's open-source models Llama 3 and Llama 4. Yutori focuses on fine-tuning AI models through post-training to enhance pretrained models for specific tasks.
