FDIC is considering easing the relevant regulations to allow banks to provide custodial services and "tokenized deposits."

BlockBeats News, February 6th, According to Barron's, under the support of the Trump administration, the U.S. banking industry is expected to expand its cooperation with cryptocurrency, possibly no longer restricting banks' entry into the field as during the Biden administration. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) plans to modify bank guidance to allow banks to engage in certain crypto activities without the need for prior regulatory approval.
