BlockBeats News, January 11th, following last December's shocking non-farm payrolls data, investors are now turning their attention to the December CPI data scheduled to be released next Wednesday. Bank of America analysts Sarah House and Aubrey Woessner expect December's overall inflation to reach a five-month high of 2.9%, up from November's 2.7%. In a report, they stated that core CPI growth is expected to remain at 3.3% for the fourth consecutive month. Inflation "will plateau this year as the supply chain improvement and the deflationary impact of falling commodity prices have dissipated, while trade policy may present new headwinds." (IG)
