The $18 Billion Nominal Value Options Quarterly Expiration will take place today, with BTC's maximum pain at $85,000.

BlockBeats News, December 27th, Greek.Live analyst Adam posted on social media today that 150,000 BTC options expired, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.69, a max pain price of $85,000, and a notional value of $14.17 billion.

In addition, there were 1.12 million ETH options expiring today, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.41, a max pain price of $3,000, and a notional value of $3.74 billion.

Adam stated that today is the annual expiration, with $18 billion options expiring for the last time this year, and the theme of this week remains adjustment. Due to Christmas overlapping with the annual expiration, the overall market interest is relatively low.

Bitcoin has achieved over double-digit gains in 2024, especially the end-of-year rally since November, making the market very optimistic about 2025. In January next year, after Trump's inauguration, he will be the most crypto-friendly president in history, while crypto supporter Musk will also have greater influence. Whether it's mainstream finance further integrating crypto or the U.S. government and major corporations holding Bitcoin reserves, it will have a huge positive impact on the entire crypto market.

Based on past bull market experiences, the next few months will see sector rotation in the bull market. Hopefully, there will be more innovative products to drive the bull market of the entire crypto market, with the wealth effect expected to be significantly stronger than the current bull market of mainstream coins.
