BlockBeats News, November 20th, According to foreign media reports, five sources familiar with the Kremlin's thinking said that Russian President Putin is open to discussing a Ukraine ceasefire agreement with Trump but rules out any major territorial concessions and insists on Kyiv dropping its NATO ambitions.
When asked what Putin would accept in any agreement mediated with Trump, the five sources said the Kremlin could broadly agree to freeze the conflict along the front line. Three of the sources said there may be room for negotiation on the exact division of the eastern regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.
Two sources said Russia might also be willing to withdraw troops from relatively small areas in the northern and southern Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions of Ukraine. However, Biden's approval for Ukraine to use US-made missiles to strike Russia's mainland could complicate and delay any solution. If no ceasefire agreement is reached, then Russia will continue to fight. (Golden Finance)
