Ubisoft announces NFT Mint plan for Web3 game Captain Laserhawk

BlockBeats news, October 4, according to Decrypt, gaming giant Ubisoft will launch 10,000 NFTs on Arbitrum through Magic Eden in the coming weeks, which will allow holders to experience the upcoming shooting game Captain Laserhawk: The GAME in advance.

It is reported that the game is set in a dystopian world and is inspired by the Netflix series Captain Laserhawk: Blood Dragon Remix (which itself was inspired by Ubisoft's Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon). This multiplayer competitive game is expected to include iconic characters from Assassin's Creed. Didier Genevois, executive producer of Web3 at Ubisoft, said in a press release: "By integrating Web3, we enable our community to not only play games, but also shape the future of games."

BlockBeats previously reported that on August 6, the Arbitrum Foundation and Sequence were working with Ubisoft Labs (Ubisoft) to develop the Web3 game Captain Laserhawk: The GAME. According to the plan, the game will be built on Arbitrum, while Sequence will provide key blockchain tools.
