Binance Charity to Airdrop $1 Million in BNB to Users in Typhoon-Affected Areas of Vietnam

BlockBeats news, on September 13, according to the official announcement, in response to the recent damage caused by Typhoon "Yagi" in northern Vietnam, Binance Charity will airdrop up to $1 million in BNB to registered Binance users living in the affected areas.

The identification of affected users will be based on their POA (proof of address) information, indicating that they live in one of the 25 most affected cities in northern Vietnam. Users in the 25 cities who complete the POA before September 10, 2024 will receive $50 worth of BNB directly in their Binance accounts.

In addition, understanding that not all affected users may complete the POA by the required date, Binance Charity will airdrop $20 worth of BNB to existing users in the region who registered before September 10, 2024 and will complete the POA between September 10, 2024 and September 30, 2024 (both dates inclusive). The first batch of donations will be distributed to the corresponding accounts starting September 15, 2024.
