Data: Cryptocurrency industry lost more than $313 million due to hacker attacks in August

BlockBeats news, September 1, data shows that during August, cryptocurrency hackers stole $313.86 million worth of digital assets in more than a dozen cyber attacks. Among them, two phishing attacks took away $238 million worth of BTC and $55.4 million worth of DAI.

According to a report by Immunefi, as of August 2024, the crypto industry has lost $1.21 billion worth of crypto assets due to hacker attacks and fraud.
