Celsius has returned more than $2.53 billion in crypto and cash to more than 251,000 creditors

BlockBeats reported that on August 27, Celsius bankruptcy administrator stated in its first payment status report that more than $2.53 billion had been distributed to approximately 251,000 creditors.

The administrator stated in a court document filed on Monday that the payment was made in liquid cryptocurrency and cash at the price of January 16. In terms of quantity, they cover approximately two-thirds of all eligible creditors of cryptocurrency lenders and approximately 93% of the eligible value. Another 121,000 eligible creditors received an average distribution of approximately $1,500, but have not yet successfully received the distribution.
