BlockBeats reported that on July 9, TON ecosystem protocol TAC will release TON's second-layer network based on Polygon CDK technology. The team announced the news at the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) held in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday.
The new protocol is called TON Applications Chain, which will utilize Polygon's Chain Development Kit (CDK), a customizable toolkit that allows developers to create their own second-layer blockchain based on Polygon's zero-knowledge technology.
A key feature of the TAC project is that it will be compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), because developers who build applications under the widely used Ethereum standard can easily port to the new TAC second-layer network in the TON ecosystem.
