Vitalik: L2 user experience is too fragmented, and an open decentralized protocol is needed to transfer assets between various L2s

BlockBeats news, on May 21, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin discussed the L2 product experience with self-hosted wallet Soul Wallet co-founder Zeng Jiajun and said: "We need an open decentralized (no operator, no management) protocol for quickly transferring assets from one L2 to another L2 and integrating it into the wallet's default sending interface. But before getting too obsessed with any fancy toys, do the basic work first."

Vitalik said that the biggest user experience problem at the moment is that L2-verse doesn't feel "like a unified Ethereum" enough. It's much better than it was a year ago, but it's still far from perfect.
