Crypto asset trading platform VALR obtains South African regulatory license
According to BlockBeats, on April 15, CoinDesk reported that South African cryptocurrency trading platform VALR has obtained regulatory approval from the country's financial regulator.
BlockBeats previously reported that in March 2022, VALR received $50 million in Series B financing, led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Alameda Research, Coinbase Ventures and Avon Ventures. It is understood that this round of financing is the largest financing in the African crypto field to date, and VALR's valuation will reach $240 million after the financing.
